Brazilian Blowout: A Different Smoothing Treatment

If you’ve heard of Brazilian Blowout and assumed it’s just another name for a keratin treatment, it’s actually a different service with its own formula — built around amino acids and proteins rather than keratin. The result is a similar goal (smoother, frizz-free hair) reached through a different process, and it can be a better fit depending on your hair type and how much natural texture you want to keep.

How Long Does It Last?

As a general rule, both keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatments last around two to four months, depending on your hair type and how you care for it at home — washing with a sulfate-free shampoo is one of the easiest ways to stretch out the results.

Our Keratin Express service uses a lighter application than a full keratin treatment, which means it typically doesn’t last quite as long — usually closer to several weeks rather than a few months — but it’s also faster and requires less commitment.
