With a passion for fashion, color, and design, Gayle Giacomo originally aspired to be a Manhattan fashion designer but found her creative calling in hairstyling. Under Daniel’s mentorship, she mastered both cutting and coloring techniques, later becoming the sole owner of Gatsby Salon in 1998. She transformed it into a space where modern trends meet timeless elegance, elevating the salon experience with top-tier stylists, premium products, and an ever-evolving aesthetic.
In 2010, Gatsby Salon gained national recognition through Style Network’s Jerseylicious, but Gayle’s focus remained on innovation, education, and delivering an unparalleled client experience. Today, her daughter Christy plays an integral role in helping to run the salon, ensuring Gatsby stays true to its heritage while embracing the future of beauty.
